She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilborn Dover and Nellie Fay Herring Dover; her husband Roger Hayes; her nephew Torrey Sosebee; and her brother-in-law Tony Sosebee.
She is survived by: her sons, David Hayes (Jill) and Brian Hayes (Christy); her sister Linda Dover Sosebee; and her nephew Todd Sosebee (Rena). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
