She was predeceased by: her father James; her husband George Perry Tate; her siblings, Wayne Wood, James Marshall Wood, Larry Wood and Kay Underwood; and her grandson Thomas "Bubba" Tatum.
She is survived by: her children, James P. Tate (Karen) of Toccoa, George F. Tate (Sherrie) of Opelika, Alabama., Donna Tatum of Bessimer, Vanessa A. Craft (Ricky) of Opelika, Jennifer L. Clark (Brian) of Jefferson and Marthalene Logan of Florida.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Woodbine Cemetery (147 Athens St, Jefferson, GA 30549).
