He was predeceased by: his parents, Linton Oliver Holmes and Winnie Lou Tucker. He is survived by: his wife Reba Ricks Holmes of Jefferson; his son Eric Holmes of Flowery Branch; his stepson Jamie Westbrooks of Banks County, GA; his grandchildren, Darren Eric Holmes (Tiffany) of Murryville, GA, Kaylee Holmes of Flowery Branch, Catherine Westbrooks of Banks County, GA and Matt Williams of Flowery Branch, GA; and his great grandchildren, Brantley Holmes, Cason Holmes and Abby Holmes.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Home (1350 Winder Hwy, Jefferson, GA 30549). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home (1350 Winder Hwy, Jefferson, GA 30549). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at the Woodbine Cemetery (147 Athens St, Jefferson, GA 30549).
Flowers are optional, and memorial gifts may be made to the charity of one's choice in memory of Leon Holmes.
