She was predeceased by : her parents, Rufus McCarra and Virgie Roberts McCarra; and her sister Pansy Mosby. She is survived by : her husband Jan Harold Johnston of Jefferson, GA; her children, Christy Beth Eager (Drew) of Jefferson, GA and Scott Johnston of Atlanta, GA; her grandchildren, Loralai Eager and Jack Eager; and her siblings, Pat Oldham (Jim) of Las Vegas, NV, Kathy Scarbrough of Meridian, MS, Rufus "Sonny" McCarra (Gayle) of Meridian, MS and Scott McCarra of New Orleans, LA. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews.
