He was predeceased by: his parents, Sheddie Wilson and Mary Sue Brooks Wilson; and his brothers, Laprather and Larry Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jones Wilson of Jefferson; his children, Lisa Baxter of Pendergrass and Timothy Wilson (Karen) of Jefferson; his stepson Andy Everett of Jefferson; his grandchildren, Terry "Scoot" Baxter and Nicholas "Worm" Baxter; and his siblings, Jo Dowdy of Nicholson, Emory Wilson of Nicholson, Jimmy Wilson (Shirley) of Nicholson and Fulton Wilson (Margie) of Commerce.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Home (1350 Winder Hwy, Jefferson, GA 30549). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Evans Memory Gardens (1350 Winder Hwy, Jefferson, GA 30549).
