He was predeceased by : his father Horace Clifton Jones; and his brother James Eston Jones. He is survived by : his wife Lorraine Walker Jones of Danville; his children, Richard A. Jones (Lynn), Cynthia Jones Bizaillion of Danville and Gwendolyn Jones Coleman (Ray); his brothers, Darriel Jones (Elaine) of Eastman and Milton Jones (Patricia) of Eastman; his sister-in-law Mary Lou Jones; his grandchildren, Shawn Coleman (Katie), Seth Coleman (Tori), Lindsey Jones, Heather Mullis (Eric), Joshua Watkins (Amanda) and Rachel Bostian (Donnie); and his great grandchildren, Eve, Caleb, Gavin, Emma, Ragan, Jordyn and Jaxson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Serenity Hospice 1022 Hillcrest Pky Dublin, GA 31021.
