It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Avalene Cooper (Jesup, Georgia), who passed away on December 30, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guyton Beasley and A. Lucille Driggers Beasley; and her siblings, Lonnie, Bobby, Alan Beasley and Terri Sutton.
She is survived by: her daughter Terrie Woods (Tom Bell) of Fairmont; her grandchildren, Michaela Woods of Fairmont and Jared Scott of Fairmont; her siblings, Colleen Oder (Troy) of Jesup, Kathy Truitt of Screven, Darlene Beasley of Screven, Earlene Clark of Jesup and Christopher Boatright (Nichole) of Waycross; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Dover Beasley of Jesup. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
