She was predeceased by: her former husband James Brian Adams; her parents, Clarence Dunn and Iris Dunn; and her siblings, Genell Dunn, Betty Platt and Faye Collins.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby E. Hughes of Jesup; her children, Teresa Plitt (Fred) of Valdosta, Bruce Adams (Suzanne) of Guyton and Pamela Roller (Lou) of Old Town, Fla.; and her grandchildren, Justin Parrish, Rebecca Parrish, Katie Adams Watson (Patrick), Blake Adams (Jessy), Kylie Adams Clark (Tyler), Adam Thomas (Jenny) and Stephen Thomas (Rachel). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (415 E Cherry St, Jesup, GA 31546). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
