He is survived by: his parents, Carolyn Jean Miller and Danny Lee Simmons; his sister Paula Christian (Scott); his niece Jessica Griffis (Drew); his great-nephews, Jedidiah of Jesup and Ivan of Jesup; his brother Josh Simmons; his nieces and nephews, Hannah and Abbey of Dylan; his aunts, Betty Davis (Doug) of North Carolina and Phyllis Moody of North Carolina; and his caregiver Roy Griffis.
