She is survived by: her husband Donnie Wheelis; her children, Johnny Wheelis (Missy) of Odum, Buffie Morales (Vincent) of Screven and Jody Wheelis of Screven; her grandchildren, Kassi Odom (Dawson), Kaylee White (Rylee), Kensley Copeland (Micah), Rileigh Morales, Kylie Wheelis and Kasey Morales; her great grandchild Rhett Cherokee Odom; and her siblings, Cheryl Holland (Jack) of Screven, Teresa Boatright of Screven, Daryl Boatright of Screven and Barry Boatright (Judy) of Blackshear. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Howard & Jones Funeral Home (777 S 1st St, Jesup, GA 31545). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Ritch Baptist Church Cemetery.
