He was predeceased by: his parents, George Washington Murray and Maude Cornelia Murray (Roberson); his former wife Nina Murray (South); and his sister Ruth Dean Banegas (Murray). He is survived by: his wife LaJune Murray of Pierson, Fla.; his daughters, Chandra Carter (Murray) of Temple, Colleen Murray Lane (Tony) of Bloomingdale and Ellyn Murray Olson (Peter) of Cartersville; his grandchildren, Michael Brandon Carter (Kim), Breanne (Lane), Brunson (Chris), Blake Lane, Grey Olson and Eden Olson; and his pet Thomas. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery (3357 Lanes Bridge Rd, Jesup, GA 31545).
