We bid farewell to Diana Jo Gillespie of Jesup, Georgia, born in Riceboro, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 20, 2024 at the age of 83. Diana touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by : her parents, Eldora B. Williams and John Williams; her husband Bernard Gillespie; and her siblings, Lue Bertha Williams and Melvin Williams.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Tiara Gillespie, Joshua Blanton, Caleb Blanton, Noah Gillespie, Elijah Gillespie, Ryanna Gillespie, Destiny Gillespie and Donnie Gillespie; her siblings, Sarah R. Lumpkin, John H. Williams, Cleve J. Williams, Tommy M. Williams (Lelia M.) and Abraham Williams (Veronica); and her in-laws, Lovie Gillespie (Francis), Margie Phillips, Barbara Merchant, Betty Earl (Charles) and Myrtice Newhouse (Gary). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Viewing was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Glory Church (13900 Hwy 17, Townsend, GA 31331). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at the Anderson Grove Cemetery (293 Retreat Rd, Riceboro, GA 31323).
