He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Winston Purcell, Sr. and Carolyn Wasdin Purcell; and his son Hugh Winston Purcell. He is survived by: his wife Janice Logan Purcell of Jesup; his children, Shala Wingate of Jesup and Justin Purcell (Julie) of Jesup; his grandsons, Paul Purcell (Lily Beth) of Jesup and Asher Wingate of Jesup; and his siblings, Jerry Purcell (Terri) of Mobile, Randy Purcell (Kathy) of Odum, Donna, Ike Pye of Odum, Jeff and Teresa Purcell of Warrenton, Georgia.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
