He is survived by: his wife Linda Rozier Burke; his children, Donna Burke Shuman of Blackshear and Chad Burke (Mandy) of Jesup; his grandchildren, AJ Ring, Chelton Burke, Finley Burke, Archy Shuman, Mary-Madeline Shuman and Fischer Burke; his siblings, Jimmy Burke (Beverly) of Jacksonville, Norma Vaught (Darrell) of Baxley and Sandra Strickland (Wesley) of Waycross; and his sisters-in-law, Pam Burke of Jesup and Bonnie Burke of Douglas.
