It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Blanton Smiley of Jesup, Georgia, who passed away on October 9, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. A. Blanton and Erie Lee Blanton. She is survived by: her daughter Kristine Smiley (Steven) of Jesup; her siblings, Mary Seckinger (Chuck), Linda Baker (Ira) and Johnny Lee Blanton of Jesup; her grandchildren, Jayden and Jace Jolin; and her close friend Alice Strickland of Ludowici. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
