He was predeceased by: his mother Eulee Herndon Rinehart; and his brother George William "Billy" Rinehart, Jr.. He is survived by: his father George William "Bill", Sr.; his son Calvin "Cal" Gene Rinehart, Jr. of Jesup; his grandchildren, Kenna, Jakob, Rilee and Logan; his daughter Heather Scarborough (Chad) of Odum; his grandsons, Wes, Jake and Jed; his sister Sarah Rinehart Geiger of Odum; his niece Leslie Rinehart Miller (Joey) of Screven; his nephews, George William Rinehart, III (Charlotte) of Jesup and David Geiger (Chasity) of Jesup; and his sisters-in-law, Winnie Cooper and Norma Odum (Robert).
