It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenda Poppell of Jesup, Georgia, who passed away on April 23, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Glenda Poppell to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Hyma Poppell and Thelma Page Poppell; and her brothers, Wayne Poppell and Rick Poppell. She is survived by : her siblings, Irene Kirkland of Jesup, Barbara Bennett (Richard) of Jesup, Betty Cason (Don Bitter) of Hilton Head, SC., Carol Brown (James) of Jesup, Judy Rozier (William) of Jesup, Sandra Dickens (Steve) of Jesup, Dennis Poppell (Martha) of Odum, Jerry Poppell (Shirley) of Odum and Genell Poppell (Tanya) of Odum; and her sisters-in-law, Cathy Poppell of Jesup and Joni Poppell of Guyton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Rinehart And Sons Funeral Home Inc.. (860 US-301, Jesup, GA 31546). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Rinehart & Sons Chapel (860 US-301, Jesup, GA 31545).

Glenda requested memorials be made to her church, Grace Assembly of God, 2324 Rayonier Road, Jesup, GA 31545.
