We announce the death of Gloria Ward of Jesup, Georgia, who passed away on June 8, 2026, at the age of 88. Gloria will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Gloria’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoke Thomas and Clara Aspinwall Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Billy; her daughter Lisa; her son-in-law David Lassiter of Albany; and her grandsons, David Lassiter, Jr. of Columbus and Ward Lassiter of Athens.
