It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Rucker Dick of Jesup, Georgia, who passed away on February 11, 2026, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierson Dick and Pauline Dick. He is survived by: his close friend Jean Griffis of Jesup; his sons, Beauman Dick (Lori), William Dick (Christy Cheves) and Eric Whitted (Katherine); his grandchildren, Charleigh Elizabeth Dick, Carolyn Jewell McKinnie (Ryland Macloud), Campbell Louise Rucker, Piper Michele Gentry Dick, Tristram and Liam Whitted; and his siblings, G. Pierson Dick, III (Barbara) and Polly Sellier (Bill).
