With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Bennett Hickey of Jesup, Georgia, who passed away on December 31, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Luther Bennett and Josephine Bennett; her husband Stanley Hickey Sr.; her siblings, Luther "Tug" Bennett, Louis Bennett, Hubert Bennett, Louise Shealey, Grace Peters, Kathryn Hickey and Helen Paasche; and her son-in-law Roger Lewis.

She is survived by : her children, Pam White (Henry) of Jesup, Paula Lewis of Jesup, Rhonda Scott (Charles) of Jesup, Stanley Hickey Jr. (Peggy) of Jesup and Renee Clark (B. W.) of Athens; her brother Cecil Bennett of Fernandina Beach, Fla.; and her grandchildren, Nicole Lynn (Daniel), Amanda Joiner (Lamar), Adam Scott, Ashleigh Johnson (Matthew), Alan Scott (Erica), April Davis (Trey), Amy Owens (Davy), Matthew White (Mandy), Taylor Powell (Jake) and Lindsay Garrett (Eli). She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren.
