We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2025, at the age of 78, Jimmy Paul Davis Sr. in Jesup, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Davis and Lois Beasley Davis; and his siblings, Billy Davis, Bobby Davis, Villa Gordon, Alma Toler, Morrine Caraway, Mary Lou Gordon, Pauline Edwards, Lois Gillis, Viola Fuller and Barbara Poppell.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Wood Davis of Jesup; his sons, Jimmy Davis, Jr. (Katie) of Jesup and Jason Davis (Carrie) of Pembroke; his stepsons, Gene Odom (Cindy) of Baxley, Timmy Odom (Becky) of Baxley, Gary Odom (Stephanie) of Baxley and Michael Odom (Angel) of Baxley; and his sister Margie Branham of Eulonia. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Howard & Jones Funeral Home (777 S 1st St, Jesup, GA 31545). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Odum City Cemetery.
