We are sad to announce that, on January 9, 2026, at the age of 81, Joan Long of Jesup, Georgia, born in New York, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Long; her parents, Walter Waterfield and Vernice Waterfield; and her sister Rita Curylo. She is survived by: her children, Lynn Bosquez (Rene) of Corpus Christi, TX, Bree Dent (Chad) of Odum and Shellie LaPradd (Mary) of Jesup; her grandchildren, Amy Gonzalez, Nathan, Adam, Jack Bosquez (Lily), Shellie, Daniel LaPradd, Alec Dent (Sammi) and MaKenna Sloan (Evan); and her brother Tad Waterfield (Gloria). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
