He is survived by: his wife Laveda Hutson Friese of Jesup; his sons, Tommy Friese (Angelina) of Jesup and Jason Friese of Jesup; his stepdaughter Renee Howard of Pembroke; his brother Ed Friese of Sylvania; and his grandchildren, Brittny Ballard, Braiden Friese, Erica Stuckey, Kady Jones, Austin, Tristan and Steel Friese.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel (860 US-301, Jesup, GA 31546). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
