He was predeceased by : his mother Luease Fulton Blanton; and his siblings, Lloyd Blanton and Barbara Jones. He is survived by : his father Bill Blanton; his wife Ruby Miller Blanton of Hazlehurst; his sons, Jeff Blanton (Liza) of Jesup, Ken Blanton of Hinesville and Timothy Blanton of Hinesville; his stepson John Clark of Young Harris; his siblings, Tera Privett (Eddie) of Newnan and Robert Blanton (Suzette) of McComb, Mississippi; and his sister-in-law Alice Blanton of Jesup. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.
