We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2025, at the age of 73, Larry W. McLendon of Jesup, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert McLendon and Doris McLendon; and his siblings, Wayne, Joseph McLendon, Linda McLendon and Shirley Storm.
He is survived by: his wife Melba Sapp McLendon of Jesup; his daughters, Stephanie Thompson (Andy) of Brunswick and Natalie Thompson (Robbie) of Brunswick; his grandchildren, Jacob Cook (Amelia), Alex Cook, Zach Thompson and Sophie Thompson; and his sisters, Kathy Rogers of Hazlehurst and Phyllis Brantley of Jesup.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel (860 US-301, Jesup, GA 31546). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unity Church of God, 1580 Sunset Blvd, Jesup, GA 31545.
