She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby Smith; and her son Franklin Lamar Hand. She is survived by: her children, Shirley Martin (Terry) of Jesup and Bobby, Jr. Smith (Rhonda) of Wrens; her grandchildren, Linda Hand, Erica Sisson (Ben), Emily, Chandler Smith and Sadie Smith; and her great grandchild Braiden.
