We are sad to announce that, on February 18, 2026, at the age of 65, Luis Perez-Alcaide (Jesup, Georgia), born in Manhattan, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Luis shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Luis farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his father Luis Mario Perez; and his aunt Aida Alcaide. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Perez; his children, Elimaida Perez of Philadelphia, Emileida Perez of Florida and Jimmy Spoon of Jesup; his grandchildren, Austin Spoon of Texas, Dylan Spoon (Mallory Crosby) of Jesup and Abbie Wells Spoon of Maryland; his mother Gladys Alcaide of Puerto Rico; and his siblings, Elvin Aguilar of Florida and Lily Aguilar of Puerto Rico. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and dear friends.
