She was predeceased by: her parents, Baxter Lee McCollum and Sarah Arnett McCollum; her husband David R. Bennett; and her half-sister Connie Dent. She is survived by: her brother Alvin McCollum (Mary Ann) of Cartersville; and her niece Janice Davis (Austin) of Blackshear.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Flint Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
