He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Alton Lynn, Sr. and Carolyn Channell Lynn. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Lynn of Jesup; his children, Melanie Lynn of Jesup, Robert Lynn, Jr. (Stacey) of Jesup and Chris Lynn (Christy Denison) of Screven; his grandchildren, Cade, Cam Lynn, Clay Benfield, David Himes and Cheyenne Hall; and his siblings, Patricia "Susie" Capra (Greg), Cindy Strickland (Larry) and Lonnie, Jr. Lynn (Sally). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rinehart And Sons Funeral Home Inc.. (860 US-301, Jesup, GA 31546). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Unity Church of God (1580 Sunset Blvd, Jesup, GA 31545).
