He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tyre and Nell Harper Tyre; and his brother-in-law Robert Madray. He is survived by: his son Rodney Tyre, Jr. (Mallary) of Odum; his siblings, Nelda Albert (Buck) of Crestview, Edwin Tyre (Kay) of Hawthorne, David Tyre (Jane) of Gardi and Shirley Madray of Brunswick; and his grandchildren, Maddux, Mosley, Gabriele, Avary and Camden Tyre. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
