He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Leonard and Eva Huggins Purvis; his wife Janice; his children, Kevin Purvis (Donna) of Statesboro and Martha Clements (Howell) of Odum; his grandchildren, Justin Lee, Maryn Chandler (Clay), Christopher Purvis (Ashlyn), Adam Purvis and Logan Purvis; and his great grandchildren, Callan, Ausley Chandler and Teddy Purvis.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home (860 US-301, Jesup, GA 31546). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel (860 US-301, Jesup, GA 31546).
