She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Odom and Monnie Odom; her brother Foster Odom; and her siblings-in-law, Gail Odom and Warren Purvis.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth E. Tuten of St. Marys; her daughter Ginger Strickland-Dugas of Jesup; her granddaughter Davison Dugas (Tyler Kimbrel) of Brunswick; and her sisters, Dinah Purvis of Jesup, Linda Phillips (Carroll) of Tybee Island and Brenda Timms of Macon. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gardi Baptist Church (981 Morning Glory Cir, Jesup, GA 31546). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
