With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia Smith of Jesup, Georgia, born in Harvey, Illinois, who passed away on November 12, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Stephen Bielenin and Stephanie "Pat" Bielenin; her son Thomas Smith; and her sister Shirley Scalia. She is survived by : her children, Laurie Zawisza (Joe), Natasha Odom (Daniel) and Robert Smith. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one "soon to be" great grandchild.
