He is survived by: his wife Sadie Nettles Jackson of Jesup; his children, Karen Murphy (Steven) of Guyton and Vernon Jackson, Jr. (Angela) of Screven; his sister Helen Harris (Parell) of Brunswick; and his grandchildren, Brenna Lefcourt (John), Craig Murphy, Vernon Jackson, III (Jessica), Kira Jackson and Hannah Lilley (Dan). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
