It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bobby Nelson Taylor (Jonesboro, Georgia), who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his wife Donna L. Taylor; his children, Terri Taylor-Hamrick and Jeff "Bugs" Taylor (Marianne); his grandchildren, Gabe Hamrick (Carla), Nancy Harper, Jeffery Taylor and AJ Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Bailey Taylor, Peyton Taylor, Grace Taylor, Jeffery Taylor, Camden Taylor, Kellen Harper and Dillon Harper. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

“Our sincere condolence for the loss of your husband Bobby, your children's father and grandfather. He will always be remembered as a great neighbor with loads of information pertaining to the history of this community. Donna, you and Bob were the first to welcome my daughter and myself to the neighborhood and have always been very good with advice as we talked across the back fence with each other. Bob will be missed by us and many others. He truly had a heart of gold.”
