He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bushey and Lillian Bushey. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Donald Jr. Bushey (Elizabeth) of Jonesboro, Aileen Johnson of Stockbridge, Emily Shaw (Oliver) of Chamblee and Jacob Bushey (Jessica) of Chamblee; his sisters, Diana Rash (Bill) of Illinois and Deborah Bushey (John Cadet) of Washington; and his grandchildren, Xavier Johnson, Noah Johnson, Isaac Bryant, Aaliyah Bryant, Aarielle Bryant, Lola O'Harris, Lily O'Harris and Colin Shaw.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church (591 Flint River Rd, Jonesboro, GA 30238). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
