She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Vivian Griggs and John Miller Cade; her husband Hugh Gilbert Thomas, Sr.; and her siblings, Bill Cade and Carol Wall.
She is survived by: her children, Hugh G. Thomas, Jr. of Jonesboro, Donna Suzanne Bentley (Roger) of Jackson and Alan K. Thomas (Rhonda) of Locust Grove; her grandchildren, Christina Brinker (Daniel), Joshua Bentley (Krista Murray) and Christopher Thomas; and her great grandchildren, Derek Wheeler II, Enoch Brinker, Echo Blu Brinker and Savannah Bentley. She is also survived by extended family members and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Ford Stewart Funeral Home Inc. (2047 Hwy 138 SE, Jonesboro, GA 30236). A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Ford-Stewart Funeral Home (2047 Hwy 138 SE, Jonesboro, GA 30236). A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Eastlawn Memorial Park (640 McGarity Rd, McDonough, GA 30253).
