She was predeceased by : her husband James Quentin Carnes; and her siblings, June Cooley, Grace Cochran, Tony Floyd (Bud) and Kenneth Floyd.

She is survived by : her sister Karla Tillapaugh of Stockbridge; and her siblings-in-law, Armalee Carnes of Jonesboro and Ronald Cochran of Madison. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Noah's Ark Church 2952 Noah's Ark Road, Jonesboro, GA 30236 in memory of Mrs. Etheleen Floyd Carnes.
