It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Hughes of Jonesboro, Georgia, who passed away on January 5, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Lisa Hardin. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Hughes; his children, Valarie Manning of Athens and Perry James Swain (Kathy) of Porterdale; his sister Melanie Beck of Ft. Morgan, AL.; and his grandchildren, Andrew Hatch, Kayleigh Khan (Hamza), Catherine Hatch, Evan Hardin, Savannah Swain and Javone Hicks.
