It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stephanie Smolarek of Jonesboro, Georgia, born in Hamtramck, Michigan, who passed away on November 17, 2024, at the age of 108, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George Bernard Smolarek; her daughter Diane Koellman; and her grandson Georgie Smolarek. She is survived by: her children, Gerald Smolarek (Gerry Donna) of Beaufort, SC and Judith Haag-Mercurio of Jonesboro; her grandchildren, Lawrence Smolarek, Quinn Trahan and Shannon Haag; and her great grandchild Matthew Trahan. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
