He was predeceased by: his sister Kay Smith (Gary); and his parents, Robert Matson and Helen Matson. He is survived by: his wife Karen Matson; his children, Janna Matson of Jacksonville, Fla. and Sam Matson (Kelsea) of Suwanee; and his brother Gregory Matson (Rhonda) of Blakely.
