He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Alton Thompson and Peggy Mae Ritch Thompson (Step-Father); his wife Deanna Hendrix Thompson; and his grandparents, Louise, Paul Ritch, Bessie and Horace Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Thompson (Raegan), Morgan Cortes and Peyton Thompson; his grandchildren, Lorelai Corley, Palmer Thompson, Wallace Corley and Whitley Thompson; his brothers, Dave Thompson and Danny Thompson (Kaye); his nieces and nephews, Ashley Gassett (Brandon), Jennifer Sark (Jamie) and Andrew Thompson (Andrea); his former wife Denise Thompson; his friends, Chris Jackson (Beverly) and Bob Gray; Avree Dean (Chandler).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home (4989 Mt Pleasant Church Rd, Macon, GA 31216). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
