He is survived by: his wife Becky Mitchell; his daughters, Katie Bird, Mandy O'Connor (Brian) and Chris Mitchell; his sister Trudy Bowden; and his grandchildren, Abeni Bird, Jefferson Bird, Sonja Bird, Jaden Bird, Will Bird, Tom O'Connor, Keira O'Connor, Anna Mitchell and Shelby Mitchell.
