Darlene Sheppard Obituary

We announce the death of Darlene Sheppard of Kathleen, Georgia, who passed away on July 10, 2026, at the age of 67. Darlene will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Edwards and Dorothy L. Edwards (Day); her son Thomas James Sheppard; her brother James A. Edwards; and her father-in-law T. J. Sheppard.

She is survived by: her husband Calvin "Tony" Sheppard; her children, Michael Sheppard (Erica) of Kathleen, Nathan Sheppard (Shelby) of Kathleen and Tracy Sheppard of Panama City; her grandchildren, R. J. Spoon (Brenna) of Colorado, T. J, Harley Sheppard of Panama City, Avalyn Sheppard of Bonaire, Madelynn Sigmon of Kathleen and Aubrie Sheppard of Kathleen; and her siblings, Donna McCollum of Bonaire, Vanessa Field (Bill) of Hayneville, Brian Edwards (Missy) of Fort Valley, Kimberly Mazo (Scott) of Kathleen and David Edwards (Jamie) of Kodiak Island, AK. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Gentiva Hospice in appreciation for the compassionate care they provided during Darlene's final days.
