He is survived by: his wife Birdie Pogue; his children, Bobby Brown (Lawanda), Tiffany Pogue and Karen Davey (Lemar); his grandsons, Nicholas Brown, Eric Blackshear and Evan Blackshear; his siblings, Thelma Donald, Henrietta Howell and Frankie Pogue; and his brothers-in-law, Alfred Stokes (Madeline) and Sydney Raine (Ursell). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Richard R. Robinson Chapel (4000 Russell Pkwy, Warner Robins, GA 31088). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fellowship Bible Baptist Church (431 Dunbar Rd, Warner Robins, GA 31093). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Parkway Memorial Gardens Cemetery (720 Carl Vinson Pkwy, Warner Robins, GA 31093).
