He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Hutzell Hefty and Helen Inez Hefty (Kennison); and his brother Marlan Hefty. He is survived by: his wife Charlene May Hefty (Von Bargen); his children, Kathy Danielson (Doug), Michael Hefty, Vicky Smith (Michael), Brent Hefty and Deanna Villanueva (Arsenio); and his siblings, Donnie Hefty, Larry Hefty (Laurene) and Janet Hammon. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
