He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Barker and Mattie Barker; and his sister Gloria Pittman. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Barker; his children, James Stymest III (Julie), Joseph Stymest, Stacie Walker and Albert James Barker II (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Lucian Walker Clough, Maryn Walker Clough and Ireland Walker Clough; and his niece Lisa Stone (Ray).
