She was predeceased by: her husband Jay Bryan Mitchell Jr.; her parents, Daniel Dunphy and Bella Dunphy; and her brothers, Ronald Dunphy (Mary) and Michael Dunphy (Rita).
She is survived by: her children, Jay Bryan Mitchell III, Angela Mitchell and John Mitchell (Shannel); her grandchildren, Travis, Charlotte, Jacob and Rosie; her sister-in-law Helen Cork (Ben); her nephews, Ben Cork (Chere), Thomas Cork (Helen) and Spencer Cork; her brother John Dunphy (Patricia); and her sons, Craig Dunphy (Sheila) and Paul Dunphy (Janise).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Annunciation Catholic Church (808 College St, Columbus, MS 39701). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
