He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hugh Rice and Thora Rice; his wife Mercedes Rice; and his son Hugh Rice. He was also cherished by two stepsons; one stepdaughter; five cherished step-granddaughters; and a wealth of step-nieces, step-nephews, step-cousins, and dear friends.
