She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Schumacher and Bessie Schumacher (Anlicker); her husband Benjamin Beer; her son James Beer; and her siblings, Richard Schumacher, Jim Schumacher, Robert Schumacher, Harriet Pisel, Patricia Fuller and Betty Cruickshank.
She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Matta (Greg); her grandchildren, Sarah Matta (Dimitri), Michael Matta (Elisabeth) and Savannah Beer; and her siblings, Melvin Schumacher, Jr., Dolores Schumacher Mosshart and Dixie Schumacher Vogel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to National Cancer Society or National Kidney Foundation.
